KR-45, Piston Systems, and Updates

We are beginning the first manufacturing tests of our new KR-45 lower receiver and rifle. We completely changed the look and function of the receiver to set our design apart from the CNC Guns AR45. The receiver uses Glock 21 Magazines that can also be converted to high-capacity through the use of the TDI Vector conversion kit. An additional receiver is being developed for the use of Glock 22 magazines. Promag provide high capacity magazines in .40 SW. The goal is to make a seamless transition from your duty handgun to a AR based sub-machine gun.

Next on the list is a piston system for both our 5.56 and .308 based rifles. This system will also be a stand-alone product that can be used to convert your current gas system over.

And finally we are changing the items and setup of our online shopping cart system. We have recently realized that the system was not storing new orders correctly. Plus some items needed to be removed and updated. Thanks!

General Update

As other gun enthusiasts know, since the election results there has been a surge in firearm purchases. Specifically purchases of assault weapons or anything that might be targeted in any possible future gun legislation. With that said, procurement has been a hassle for everyone in the industry. Unfortunately some people have greatly increased prices. Some are just adjusting to the demand and difficulty of keeping up with it…

Currently, all KR-15 lowers are out of stock and we’re working on some small size batches to attempt to keep pace with it. Most everything else we have is also out of stock except for tactical gear. On a good note though, we have submitted registration for our SOT as an NFA manufacturer. We’ll be pumping out affordable suppressors for .223 / 5.56 as soon as the SOT is approved.

Duracoat Back Online

We finally finished work on our new spray / paint room, so we are accepting Duracoat finishing projects again. We’ve added more equipment and enhancements to help provide the best results available with Duracoat. The new room has better ventilation and filters to prevent contamination and dust from entering the room. A direct heat intake has been added so that we can bake on the fly without having to move the parts after they have been recently coated. The final element added is refrigerated storage for the Duracoat, hardener, and other chemicals to insure that the quality of the materials remains over time.

With that said, we will be doing a limited discount or special to celebrate the new coating room.

No more AR45’s

Due to unfortunate circumstances, Khalan Weaponry will be withdrawing from the CNCGuns AR45 project. We will be focusing on Khalan made products, such as our .308 receivers and rifles. We sincerely apologize to all of the customers who purchased services or products in regards to the CNCGun AR45 receiver. The end result of the AR45 project was not what we intended it to be. Even though certain complications were force upon us, we will take all the blame for any failures since it was our decision to accept the project in the beginning. Again, we apologize to any customers not satisfied with their product or the circumstances surrounded in the AR45 project.

Welcome to the new KMC & KW website. There are still some areas missing some content, so please bare with us during this transition. If you are looking for our online store, please visit KW Online Shop.

One of the best improvements we have made to the website is the “Showcase” section. From there you can easily view images and videos. You will also notice these pictures on the right side of the website. These are random images that are pulled from the Showcase section. We are still adding more images of product and service examples.
